Stepehn

Thame, Oxfordshire

Last week I used Pro House Clearance to clear a three bedroom property in Thame for me.

I had previously had a tenant living in the property, who had up and left leaving the house in an absolute state.

The tenant had been living in my property for over five years, she had been a reputable tenant throughout the five years leaving no cause for concern when she left.

After not receiving rent for a few months and having no contact with the tenant, I went through the correct procedures to regain access to my property, when I seen the property for the first time since the first year that she moved in, I couldn’t believe the absolute state that her and her three children had been living in.

Each room contained mountains of rubbish and food waste, borderlining a hoarders paradise, newspapers stacked up in every room with mouldy cups and food packaging placed on top of them, the carpets could barely be seen, and most of the furniture was severely damaged, the sofa had a huge hole in where it looked as though a dog had been chewing it.

The kitchen needed completely ripped out, most of the cupboard doors were missing or hanging from the hinges, revealing rotting food on the shelves, the sink couldn’t be seen due to stacked up dishes with mouldy food waste on top, the stench was horrendous, not only did the whole house need gutted, but also required a deep clean too.

After searching for a reputable company who can deal with these types of hoarded and verminous house clearances, I finally found Pro House Clearance who came highly recommended on the Anti Fly Tipping Association by their past customers, a lot of their previous customers had been in similar situations to myself, and I knew they were the right company for me.

I called them up and spoke to a guy called Anthony, he was my point of contact throughout the whole clearance, I explained the state that the property was in, and we agreed a very reasonable quote, and a time frame of two days to carry out the house clearance and the deep clean.

I met Anthony, Paul, and Ryan promptly at 9am on the day of the appointment, I showed them the physical state that the property was in, and let them crack on with job.

I hung around for a few hours whilst the team worked extremely fast to clear the house, in the short few hours I was there, the team managed to take three whole van loads to the commercial recycling centre, clearing the living room, kitchen, and one of the bedrooms, I was amazed to see how fast and efficient the team were, whilst the driver took one load to recycling, two of the team members stayed back to get one van load out ready for his return, they were clearly highly experienced in undertaking house clearances.

I felt like a spare part standing around whilst the team worked, and decided to leave the keys with them, and leave them to it, I told Anthony that I would return on the second day to check on the process.

When the second day came around, I headed to the property for 11am, to my surprise, the team had completely finished the clearance, and were now on to the deep clean, they split up and each worked in one room at a time, deep cleaning from top to bottom, I decided to hang around until they were finished.

The team finally finished at 1pm, the house was now completely cleared, even the carpets, underlay, and kitchen appliances had been removed, each room, easpecially the bathroom, had been deep cleaned from top to bottom.

The team worked effortlessly throughout both days to complete the job, they absolutely did not disappoint, and if ever I need a house clearance done in the future, I will certainly utilize their services again, they have done a fantastic job from start to finish.

Thanks again guys, Stephen.
